Abstract
Back pain in athletes is common. Proper management of an athlete with back pain who is trying to return
to competition must take into account the probable biomechanical contributors and incorporate these into a comprehensive rehabilitation program that moves steadily forward towards defined goals. This study will attempt to discuss pathological commonalities of low-back pain in athletes and how these can be applied to an evidence-based rehabilitation approach.
